In Pursuit of Kindness

The Lower School community celebrated Kindness Week in early April to bring special focus to this most-prized Campus attribute. One of the activities involved every class, Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5, interpreting a kindness quote of the day. Classes were asked to read and then deliberate what they felt was the meaning behind each phrase. Following are the quotes that were offered and a selection of responses from the classes.

Celebrating Kindness at Lower School

Last week, the Mission Hills Campus celebrated Kindness Week—an annual Parker tradition that brings focus to how the power of being kind can change yourself, change your community, and ultimately make the world a better place.

HSSA’s Coach of the Year Dave Glassey reflects on 40 years coaching at Parker

Dave Glassey had been coaching for 47 years when he was named the High School Sports Association’s (HSSA) Coach of the Year for 2018. The former Parker baseball coach and longtime teacher accepted his award on Feb. 4 in front of colleagues, family, and friends at Marina Village in Mission Bay.
