During Interim Week, Grade 10 and 11 students visited Good Neighbor Gardens, to learn about how a local entrepreneur is piloting a program for sustainable urban agriculture.

This is done by asking neighbors and schools to volunteer garden space. The homeowners get to eat the crops and the surplus is distributed to other neighbors in San Diego. Anyone with garden space can volunteer to have a beautiful planted and maintained on their land.
