Proving that they study in the classroom as hard as they play on the field, in the pool, or on the courts, three fall season sports have been recognized as CIF San Diego Section All-Academic Teams. Representing the San Diego Metro Region this year are Parker Football, Boys Water Polo, and Girls Tennis. The award acknowledges the teams in each sport with the highest unweighted grade point average.
The Lancer Football team maintained a 3.39 team GPA during the season with Ryan Horne, Class of 2019, named section scholar for his 4.69 GPA. Boys Water Polo maintained a 3.76 team GPA and named Adam Nussbaum, Class of 2019, the section scholar with a 4.90 GPA. Finally, the Girls Tennis team held a 3.85 GPA throughout the season and named Neusha Kharrati, Class of 2020, the section scholar with a 4.68 GPA.
