During Advisory on Wednesday, Upper School students painted wood tiles for the Color Brave Mural Project. The project, which includes more than 1,100 painted tiles from students, faculty, and staff, will comprise a mosaic mural of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Being color brave means having candid conversations about race that can help participants better understand each other’s perspectives and experiences. By engaging in ‘Color Brave’ conversations, we have the opportunity to better understand each others’ perspectives and what it means to build a community centered on inclusion and belonging.
