The Super Joey Foundation Francis Parker (SJFFP) has been busy in 2022.
To honor World Cancer Day (Feb. 4), the student-run club volunteered to help children with pediatric cancer and their families at the Ronald McDonald House, 2929 Children’s Way.
The volunteers, including Vivan Zhu and Jaden Hu, Class of 2024; Noelle Yuen, Class of 2025; and Fenja Bahrenburg, Class of 2027, donated COVID-19 supplies like masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, and other protective equipment with a Lunar New Year theme.
Their actions were highly praised by the executive president of the Ronald McDonal House. The volunteers supported and participated in the World Cancer Day and brought happiness and the celebration of Lunar New Year to the families. The SJFFP helps kids with cancer, raises awareness, and strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with cancer and their families.
