Twenty-one Parker students have created artworks that are currently being featured in the Youth Art Month (YAM) exhibit on display at the Athenaeum Art Center’s gallery space at Bread and Salt in San Diego’s Barrio Logan neighborhood.
The annual student exhibit is run by the National Art Education Association (NAEA) of San Diego.
Lower School students featured in the show are Sadie Goth, Naomi Ross, Owen Rynning, Hannah Grisby-King, Harry Handley, Chloe Hsu, Phenix Par, & Nora Van Der Lee.
Middle School students featured in the show are Olivia Tyndall, Dominic Ciccimaro, Lara Mertens, Isabel Kincart, Sophie Stover, Mina Aldous, Lucius Scala, & Alex Galindo.
Upper School students featured in the show are Phoebe Lettington, Scott Drouin, Leonard Daniels, Connor Brokowski, & Olivia Shaw.
Parker teachers Jess LaRotonda, Barry Cheskaty, Sarah Blalock, and Jaclyn Enck are also participating in the exhibit, which will be on display through Saturday, Feb. 8. An award reception will be held from 5 to 7 pm that evening.
