In mid-May, the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) team at Parker held the 14th annual Pan-African Celebration. The event celebrated students entering Grade 6, Grade 9, and of course, the graduating seniors.
The DEIB team shared some wonderful activities and poetry written by students in the group, and Bryan and Bryanna Shaw, Class of 2018, shared some words of wisdom. And all of the graduating seniors shared their highlights and tips for all of the JK-Grade 11 students and families in attendance.
The students were inspired, inspiring and shared some great stories about their experiences at Parker. It was a joyful luncheon and celebration of community. Congratulations to the graduates!
